Walk for Amy is a community effort to keep Amy's memory alive. Each year on the anniversary of her abduction, community members walk together for approximately one mile to symbolize the community's support & encouragement to law enforcement to solve this case. It is also done to create awareness that an Amy Fund is set up at Bay Village City Hall for anyone to contribute monetarily to the case. The hope is that DNA technology will advance and the fund can be used specifically to defray the cost of the investigation.
